Early Intervention

For children birth to three years of age who have special
needs. Child Development Specialists and Therapists work with parents and
their child to develop activities and learning techniques which can be used in
the home environment to enhance the child's development. This service is
provided in the home, in group settings and in the community, as needed for
each child. |

Family Support Services / Respite |
|
|
This program is for eligible children and adults living with
their families. Families receive information and referrals, financial
assistance, and/or services to assist in relieving the stress and extra
expenditures that may be incurred when raising a child with developmental
disabilities.
|

|
|
|
Children's Extensive Support Waiver
|
|
This program is intended to assist an eligible child remain in
their family home and community and avoid out-of-home placement or more costly
comprehensive services. This is accomplished by providing Medicaid services
under the regular State Plan as well as specific targeted services to eligible
children.

Early Childhood Connections (PART C) |
|
|
When a child develops at a slower pace than what is considered
typical development, or when a child has a medical condition that is known to
affect development, Early Childhood Connections can help. The purpose of Early
Childhood Connections is to enhance the development of infants and toddlers who
have developmental delays and to enhance the family's capacity to meet their
child's special needs.
